Jessica Simpson Tells Kids to ‘Stop Growing Up’ Before Baby No. 3’s Arrival

Time flies! Jessica Simpson is nearing the end of her third pregnancy, but she wants her two eldest children, 6-year-old Maxwell and 5-year-old Ace, to stay young.

“Stop growing up,” the actress, 38, captioned a Wednesday, February 20, photo of her kids on Instagram. In the sweet shot, Maxwell and Ace stood side-by-side, smiling for the camera in their school uniforms.

The “These Boots Are Made for Walking” singer posted another pic of the siblings in their uniforms earlier this month. In the photo, Ace’s backpack matched his red and black outfit, while Maxwell went with a sequined pink one instead.

“The one thing that gets me through this pregnancy is knowing I will get another one of these cuties,” Simpson wrote at the time.

She and her husband, Eric Johnson, who started growing their family in 2012, announced in September 2018 that they are expecting their third child — and the I Do author has not had an easy pregnancy.

After Simpson celebrated her baby’s impending arrival with a gorgeous shower in late January, she shared a long list of pregnancy symptoms in an Instagram selfie.

“After a month of sciatica pain, followed by 3 weeks of Bronchitis, I figured since my feet fit in my sneaks today, I needed to walk out a lot of anxiety!!” the Texas native wrote.

Since then, Simpson has opened up about her severe acid reflux — and even showed off the toilet seat that she broke when she leaned back too far in the bathroom.

Her younger sister Ashlee Simpson revealed exclusively to Us Weekly earlier this month that she’s so proud of her sister for being this open about her pregnancy struggles.

The singer told Us: “She’s doing great. Almost there. That ending, you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m ready.’”
