Best supplements for weight loss: The natural supplement proven to help you lose weight

When it comes to weight loss, there is no shortage of pills, drinks, and supplements all claiming to be the holy grail for weight loss. It’s easy for one to get bogged down by all the claims of ‘easy’ weight loss using certain supplements. Following a healthy diet plan and exercising are the best ways to shift the pounds but sometimes a supplement could help too. One natural supplement however has been proven to help a person to lose weight

There are hundreds of different microorganisms in the digestive system. The majority of these are bacteria, most of which are friendly.

Friendly bacteria produce important nutrients and help break down fibre that the body can’t digest.

Both human and animal studies have found that normal-weight people have different gut bacteria than overweight or obese people.

Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for a person’s gut. They are often called ‘good’ or ‘helpful’ bacteria because they help keep the gut and digestive system healthy.

Probiotics also help a person to shift their belly weight which is a concern for most. This is achieved by the live microorganisms that have health benefits when eaten.

They are found in both supplements and fermented foods. Probiotic supplements may improve digestion health, heart health and immune function.

In a study with the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, a meta-analyses on the effects of probiotics on specific gastrointestinal diseases was analysed.

The study concluded that probiotics are generally beneficial in treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases.

In another study, probiotics were analysed and looked at their cholesterol-lowering abilities for metabolic diseases.

The study concluded that probiotics improved resistance to infectious diseases in the gastrointestinal tract, reduced cholesterol levels and improved digestion.

The NHS said of probiotic supplements: “Probiotics are thought to help restore the natural balance of bacteria in your gut when it’s been disrupted by an illness or treatment.

“There’s some evidence that probiotics may be helpful in some cases, such as helping prevent diarrhoea when taking antibiotics, and helping to ease some symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.”

Other supplements that have been proven to help aid weight loss include apple cider vinegar supplements which decrease body fat, Garcinia Cambogia Extract which inhibit a fat-producing enzyme and caffeine tablets which boosts the metabolism.

It’s important to consult with your GP before embarking on new supplements to help with weight loss.
