Already, Serena Williams’ daughter Alexis Olympia is becoming quite the star. She’s fronted a campaign alongside her famous tennis-star mum, almost going so far as to steal the spotlight. And now, in what many are calling their favourite Grammy win celebration, Alexis Olympia dances with Serena Williams in response to the incredible wins of Megan Thee Stallion.
If you missed the whole Grammy debacle, know that Megan Thee Stallion won big, taking home a staggering four Grammys including Best New Artist. Following the award ceremony, Serena posted a TikTok video of her and Olympia, along with a couple of friends, breaking it down to Megan’s “Body” in red-carpet-worthy dresses. In one snippet, Serena busts out a few moves in front of a wall wearing a tulle gown, with Olympia doing the same in a matching outfit.
In the next clip, Serena and friends dance on a tennis court to the hit song. She captioned the post: “How we feel about these Grammy wins! Congratulations!!”
While we love nothing more than to see Serena flourish on the court, these behind-the-scenes videos of motherhood are an insight into the professional’s career that we never thought we’d have access to. Seeing her relationship with Olympia is heartfelt and inspiring, with previous videos showing the two dancing to the song “Belle” from Beauty and the Beast while wearing matching dresses.
