When it comes to the world of health and wellness, there are few celebs more clued up than supermodel Miranda Kerr. Between her organic beauty empire and her uplifting affirmations, she’s the ultimate Gwyneth/Oprah hybrid Australia never knew we needed.
That’s why when she dishes out life advice, we are all ears. Even if it is on the uh… strange side.
In a recent interview with PopSugar, the 34-year-old revealed that she likes to sip on crystal-infused H20. Yup, you read that right.
“I got these really cool bottles for my birthday that you can just refill with water, but at the bottom is a rose quartz,” she said. “I actually have a rose quartz one and an amethyst and I use them all the time. You feel like you’re getting that little extra bit of love when you have your water.”
Clearly, when you’re a celeb on the pursuit of perfection, anything goes.
But this isn’t the only weird way the mum-of-one incorporates stones into her daily routine.
Speaking with The Cut earlier this year, she admitted she keeps a rose quartz on her at all times to supercharge the self-love vibes.
“I really notice the difference when I’m holding it,” she said. “I keep one in my handbag. I have a small heart-shaped one I put in my bra.”
“It’s known to encourage love (like self-love) in your life and open the heart chakra. It’s supposed to have healing and protecting powers.”
This connection to crystals is also carried through to her beauty regime. In fact, allllll the products in her Kora Organics skincare line are filtered through a rose quartz.
“I know it sounds crazy, but I feel as human beings, that we either come from love or fear,” she explained. “If we have something like that little reminder, like rose quartz, to always come from love and not from fear, it’s a much more expansive place to come from.”
