Not here for it! Chrissy Teigen set a social media user straight after being asked if she’s pregnant.
“I know you didn’t mean it to be rude, but think twice about asking this,” the Lip Sync Battle cohost, 33, wrote on Instagram. “There are people who have trouble conceiving and it hurts every time. I’m not pregnant but would be happy if I were. But I’m also happy not to be!”
When another one of Teigen’s followers noted how discouraging comments like this can be when “you are trying to lose your baby weight,” the model went on to say, “I’m already reminded of it every time I get out of the shower, I don’t need to hear it on the daily lol.”
In the Friday, June 7, upload, the Cravings cookbook author sported a white towel and a wedding veil while she and her husband, John Legend, cheered in excitement as if they were at the altar. The couple were parodying TLC’s reality show Four Weddings on Instagram Stories.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is no stranger to slamming Instagram trolls. Last week, she responded to someone who critiqued her 3-year-old daughter Luna’s appearance.
When the social media user commented, “Finally someone brushed her hair,” on a video of Teigen’s, the Utah native clapped back. “All by herself!” she wrote. “Maybe she can come do your makeup.”
Teigen and the Voice coach also share son Miles, 12 months. The family of four have spent the week vacationing in Italy, documenting their days truffle hunting, taking pasta-making lessons and eating ice cream cones.
“I think someone’s gonna take his first steps in Italy,” the Bring the Funny judge captioned a Tuesday, June 4, photo of her baby boy crawling in grass. “Oh dear.” Two days later, she shared another shot of her son standing beside a table. “Soon!!” she wrote.
Teigen and the EGOT winner, 40, tied the knot in 2013.
