The Duchess Of Cambridge is estimated to be eight months along with her third child but despite what some gossip sites might have you believe, her bigger baby bump isn’t an indication of twins or triplets.
Yep, some have (oh so kindly) highlighted that the 36-year-old’s stomach looks larger than in her two previous pregnancies however, a number of women’s health experts have pointed out that this is completely normal.

“You’ll look bigger sooner because your rectus abdominis muscle (what you think of as the ‘six pack’) has already been stretched out during your first pregnancy,” Doctor Shelly Holmstrom told Parents.
Aly Dilks, a former midwife and the Clinical Director at The Women’s Health Clinic, told the Daily Mail that basically, your body already knows what it’s doing in subsequent pregnancies.

“During your first pregnancy the body uses hormones to make changes to accommodate the baby. As your rib cage widens and your uterus expands, it can take time to establish a real ‘bump’,” she said.
“By the second pregnancy, the rib cage has already widened giving the uterus plenty of time to expand and baby to ‘pop’ more quickly. In subsequent pregnancies the body has a sense of muscle memory, so patients often report digging out their maternity jeans almost as soon as the test turns positive.”
So if you’re betting on a royal set of multiples, bad luck.
