Close with their kids! Beyonce and Jay-Z may be busy with hugely successful careers, but the couple love spending time with their brood.
“Jay-Z and Beyonce have nannies for the kids and their assistants help out too, but they mostly try and bring the kids everywhere,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively of the Grammy winners, who share Blue Ivy, 7, and twins Sir and Rumi, 2. “Blue always travels with Beyoncé and comes with her when she’s working. The twins are getting older and Beyoncé has been taking them out a little more too. … They’re a very tight-knit family and like to do everything together.”
The insider added of the rapper, 49: “Jay-Z does a lot of daddy duty stuff and he takes Blue to school and things like that.”
He and the “Run the World” singer, 37, welcomed Blue in 2012. She became a big sister when their twins arrived five years later.
In February, the former Destiny’s Child member’s mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, told Us Weekly exclusively that Sir and Rumi already have different personalities. “The girl is really just going to rule the world, and the boy is kind of laid back and chills like the dad,” the fashion designer, 65, told Us at the time. “[Blue is] the Queen B. The second Queen B.”
The proud grandma went on to say that Beyoncé and her younger sister, Solange Knowles, who shares 14-year-old son Daniel with her ex-husband, Daniel Smith, are “amazing parents.”
“They are truly authentic and themselves, no matter what,” the Destiny’s Style author told Us. “I taught them to change the world, don’t let it change you.”
