Chrissy Teigen Claps Back at Mom-Shamers After Luna's First Dentist Visit

No surprise! Chrissy Teigen clapped back after Instagram trolls criticized her 3-year-old daughter Luna’s first dentist visit.

“So proud of my toons at her first dentist appointment!!” the Lip Sync Battle cohost, 33, captioned a social media upload of her mom, Vilailuck Teigen, holding the toddler in her lap at the dentist. Luna pretended to brush a stuffed dinosaur’s teeth while wearing a Tinkerbell dress.

One of her followers commented, “What age do they start over there? My daughter started seeing a dentist at a yr [sic] old.”

“Was waiting for this,” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model wrote. “U guys never fail me.”

Teigen has blasted Instagram trolls before, but her husband, John Legend, wishes that he and the Cravings cookbook author were both parent-shamed equally for the parenting decisions that they make together.

“On our first date after Luna was born, everyone critiqued her,” the EGOT winner, 40, told Us Weekly exclusively last week. “‘Why are you going out two weeks after your baby was born?’ But they didn’t critique me. … Hopefully people are learning that Chrissy and I are a partnership and if you’re going to parent-shame us, do it to us as a partnership.”

The singer added, “I think it’s hard for women to have equality when it comes to the workplace or any other aspect of life if they aren’t able to share some of the parenting duties with their male partners.”

Legend and his wife, who tied the knot in 2013, welcomed Luna in April 2016. She became a big sister in May 2018 when their son, Miles, arrived.

“Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens – We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles,” the model captioned a sweet shot of the sleeping newborn at the time. “Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!”
