Teresa Giudice’s Daughter Calls Her the ‘Bravest’ Amid Mother’s Day ‘Struggle’

Teresa Giudice’s daughter Audriana called her the “bravest” as the Real Housewives of New Jersey star admitted to struggling on Mother’s Day.

The Bravo star, 46, whose husband, Joe Giudice, is facing deportation to his native Italy after his appeal was denied, shared a bittersweet post on Instagram on Sunday, May 12, in which she mourned the loss of her mom, Antonia Gorga, who died in March 2017 at the age of 66.

“Today I struggle as I don’t get to spend Mother’s Day with my wonderful mom, I miss her every single day & know she’s protecting me,my guardian angel. I wish I got just one more day,” the cookbook author captioned five photos with her late mother. “I’m so lucky to have learned from her & so grateful for my four gorgeous girls who I have the pleasure of hearing them call me ‘mommy’ Happy Mother’s Day to all the terrific moms out there!”

Teresa shares four daughters — Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 9 — with her husband of 20 years, who completed his 41-month prison sentence for fraud in March and was immediately transferred into U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.

In October, a judge ordered that Joe, 46 — who moved from Italy to the U.S. as an infant but never became a citizen — be deported. Teresa and her girls wrote letters to the court, with the Standing Strong author calling Joe “the true love of my life,” but his appeal was denied in April.

Shortly afterward, Gia launched a change.org petition to ask President Donald Trump to pardon Joe and let him stay in the country. (It currently has more than 88,000 signatures.)

Teresa and Joe’s youngest daughter gave her mom a handmade Mother’s Day card on Sunday expressing her love and admiration for the star.

“Dear the most best mommy in the history of the world, Teresa Giudice LOL, Happy Mother’s Day!” Audriana wrote. “I love you soo sooo much! I am so grateful to have you in my life! I can never ask for a better mom! You mean the world to me and I love youuu! You are the best most loving, grateful and bravest mommy ever! In fact mommy, I can’t explain how much I love you! I love you to the mom and back! Love, Audriana.”
