BuzzRx® Gives Over $500K to Animals in Need

Helping improve the lives of vulnerable animals is easy – and can save you money! Our friends at BuzzRx® (formerly known as Watertree Health®) recently rebranded as part of their expansion plan to help make communities healthier by making medications more affordable.

This increased outreach continues to provide free prescription discount cards benefiting nonprofits like the ASPCA! Every time you save, BuzzRx makes a donation to our organization, at no cost to you. The company is proud to support our work to rescue, protect and care for animals in need nationwide. Since 2016, BuzzRx has donated over $500,000 to support the ASPCA’s lifesaving work.

Simply by using the free BuzzRx prescription discount card, you can help give animals like Soba a second chance. Soba was one of 28 dogs rescued from suspected dogfighting by the ASPCA last year.

When we first rescued Soba, she was shy and fearful of new situations and experiences. Thanks to hard work and care from our team, she found amazing adopters who loved and patiently worked with her while she gained confidence and trust in the new world around her. Soba’s life is now filled with joyful experiences alongside her new family.

Free prescription discount cards from BuzzRx can be used by anyone—even those with insurance—to save on both generic and brand name medications and are accepted at more than 60,000 pharmacies nationwide. The cards are available through the free BuzzRx App or the company’s website via mail, email, print or text. Cardholders can simply present it to their pharmacist when they fill or refill a prescription for immediate savings. All prescriptions are eligible, including pet prescriptions that can be filled at a “human” pharmacy. Every time you save using the card benefitting the ASPCA, BuzzRx donates $1 to our organization.

On behalf of Soba and the many animals we serve, we thank BuzzRx and all ASPCA cardholders for their continued support.
