Sarah Stage first made headlines back in 2015 when she was slammed on social media over the small size of her six-month baby bump, and now the American model is copping the same heat after announcing the impending arrival of baby number two.
The 33-year-old shared the news on Instagram last week, with a snap of herself in a bikini writing, “We are beyond excited for Baby #2!!! #5monthspregnant.”
While many commenters gave their congratulations, others were quick to criticise her shape.
“Is the child underdeveloped or a damn jelly bean cause her stomach makes no sense?” one commenter wrote.
“I feel like it’s unhealthy to be that small at five months,” another added.
And yeah, while we might have food baby bumps bigger than her actual one, Stage has proven that her flat stomach is certainly isn’t any indication that her bub is struggling.
During her first pregnancy, Stage went on Good Morning America to quash concerns she was putting her baby at risk.
“I don’t know how someone could say something like that to a pregnant woman,” she explained. “I think that is so rude. My baby is healthy and we are happy.”
She went on to give birth to a healthy, boy weighing 3.8kgs.
