Student hairdresser offers free services to those with mental health conditions

One of the followers said they may have identified the woman in the initial image. They wrote: ‘This lady, if it’s the same one, is such a lovely woman.

‘She lost her husband and after that, she had some kind of mental break and she gets aggressive and shouty very easily, but I worked in a coffee shop she came into every day and she means no harm at all.

‘If this is the same woman, she isn’t a junkie like some say. She had her own flat, but just always wore the same clothes and used to switch up the jackets after a month or so and she always walks around with lots of bags.

‘Her name is Carol, I think.’

Hayley added that it was nice to be able to humanise Carol.
