There she is! Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham welcomed their baby girl on Wednesday, May 29, and the Bachelor alum showed off their infant for the first time with sweet hospital pics.
“This was first time she laid eyes on me and I’m forever changed,” the race car driver,37, captioned a father-daughter shot via Instagram on Thursday, May 30. He also revealed his daughter’s name, Alessi Ren Luyendyk.
The former Bachelor added on his Story: “I’m so proud of @laureneburnham. You’re truly incredible and did so good today.”
In the photo, the new mom cuddled her daughter close. The real estate agent shared a photo of her own of the newborn crying on her chest, writing, “Alessi Ren Luyendyk. Born May 29, 2019 @ 2:09pm. 6lbs, 13 oz. 20 inches long. She is sweet, calm and @ariejr and I could not be more in love with her.”
The Bachelorette alum announced the arrival of their daughter on his Instagram Story on Wednesday. “We have a healthy BEAUTIFUL baby girl,” he wrote. “Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy.”
Us Weekly broke the news in November 2018 that he and the Virginia native were expecting their first child. They revealed their baby’s sex to Us in January and tied the knot in Maui that same month.
“Ever since we’ve gotten together, we wanted to fast-forward to this day,” the groom told Us at the time. “It’s been a year. That’s kind of crazy ‘cause I remember a year ago we were doing ‘happy couples [weekend on The Bachelor]’ and talking about getting married and wanting to do that, even last year, so it’s awesome that the day is finally here.”
